Yorkshire Car and Plant Glazing - Windscreen, Door, and Rear Glass replacement and repair

All our work is carried out for your convenience at home, or work, from one of our mobile workshops. This can be anything from a stone chip repair, to a full vehicle re-glaze, on any make or model of vehicle.

At Yorkshire car and Plant Glazing we use only glass manufactured to OEM standards (original equipment manufacturer). This means that we will only use the best glass available to ensure your vehicle will be restored to its original level of safety.

We also only use polyurethane adhesives that are at a minimum of OEM specification, meaning that your glass is directly bonded onto the body work of your vehicle, your vehicle will again be restored to its original level of safety. A correctly installed windscreen can also account for up to 30% of a vehicles structural strength and safety airbags also rely upon a correctly fitted windscreen to work effectively.

 A typical glass replacement will take about an hour to complete and will then need to stand for up to an hour to allow the polyurethane to cure. For your safety, bonded glass replacements must be carried out in dry conditions.

 Todays vehicle windscreens are not there just to keep the rain out! They are being fitted with heating elements, antennas, head up displays, rain, light, humidity and lane departure sensors, all of which need to be refitted precisely.
